Autumn One & Two

This term, we will be learning all about the Amazon Rainforest through our geography work and via our English text, 'The Explorer', by Katherine Rundell, which we will use to inspire our own adventure story writing. We will take inspiration from both of these subjects to base our observational artwork on: we will learning a variety of techniques to develop our drawing and shading skills to draw a variety of leaves and plants such as those we may find in the Amazon. In science we will learn about the life cycle of a human being and in music we will begin our brass instrument lessons with our new music teacher.
