Autumn Two

Hello and welcome back after half term! I hope you had lots of fun. The second half of the Autumn term is filled full of exciting learning. We begin with bonfire night and learning all about Guy Fawkes and the gunpowder plot. We then move onto Remembrance Day where we will be learning about the importance of why the soldiers died and why we where poppies to remember them. After this we will be learning all about the celebration of Diwali and making some Diwali lamps to help us understand the story of Rama and Sita! We will also be learning about hot and cold climates and the animals that live there. We then move on to Christmas! We will be reading 'The Jolly Christmas Postman' story and writing letters to Santa.

This half term we are all having a pantomime company come into school to perform Goldilocks and the Three Bears, tickets are £5 and their are a limited number of tickets for parents to join too! 

The children will of course be performing their own nativity story in December too which we hope you will come to watch.

Our PE sessions continue to be on a Tuesday and a Thursday so please come dressed in your PE kit. 

Homework will continued to be marked on a Friday so please make sure you bring your homework booklet in for it to be marked weekly. 

Please, please, please, read with your child at home at least 3x per week.
