Sort the words into two main groups - synonyms of ‘true’ and synonyms of ‘false.’ This will support you with understanding what 'true' and 'false' can mean when discussing things online.

Task: Tricked you - Discuss what you see online that you do and do not trust. Can you give examples? E.g. adverts, competitions, trades in games, ‘fake’ news stories, verified accounts, official game currency, online users they know in person, etc.

Then draw something that you do not trust online. This could be a ‘fake’ competition post, or news story.

Then write me a sentence about what you would do if you were not sure whether to trust something online. For example: “Before you enter an online competition, ask an adult you trust for help.”
