Spring One

Hello and a Happy New Year to you all! I hope you had a relaxing festive break and are full of energy for the start of term! This half term we are starting with New Year and the story Squirrel's New Year Resolution, thinking about what we might do too. We then move onto Chinese New Year and learning all about the story behind this and how it is celebrated and the similarities  and differences between the New Year celebrations. We then begin our learning about 'Space' with the story of Whatever Next and final end our half term with.....Pancake Day! A very busy but exciting half term coming up! 

Our PE days continue to be on a Tuesday and Thursday so please ensure your children come in their PE kits. 

Homework books continue to be marked on a Friday - please ensure these are sent in or your children will miss out on their points. 

We have had a big increase in children reading at home at least 3x a week so please keep this up! Reading 3x a week with your child at home greatly increases their progress in reading.
