Spring One

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a relaxing time over the festive holiday and are ready to learn lots of new and exciting things this term. To start the new term we are going to be discussing the New Year and the things we might do to celebrate it. We will also be thinking about New Year resolutions and what we would like ours to be. We then move onto Chinese New Year and learning all about the story behind this. We will also be looking at the similarities and differences between how the New Year celebrations. We will then move onto reading the story 'Dinostars and the Planet Plundering Pirates' where we will be learning all about ‘Space’  and following this we will be moving onto ….  ‘superheroes’! 
 

Our PE days continue to be on a Tuesday and Thursday, so please ensure your child comes to school in their PE kit on these days. 
Homework books will continue to be marked on a Friday - please ensure your child brings their homework book into school or they will miss out on their points. 
Please, please, please read with your child at home at least 3 times per week. Your child will have a phonic book and a browsing book which will be changed weekly.
