Spring Two

This half term in Robin Class we shall be reading the story of Jack and the Beanstalk and the Selfish Giant as part of our  topic. The children will be writing a news paper report about 'Who stole the golden egg?!', a diary entry as if the children were Jack, and writing a persuasive letter to the Selfish giant to allow Jack to play in the castle. 

We shall be learning about the history of Codnor castle and learning about castles which includes comparing them from then and now. 

In art we shall be exploring digital art to create pictures on paint programs, taking photographs and using photo editing software to create a piece of work.
