This half term we are looking at pancake day, pirates and Easter with lots of activities linked to these. Please remember to sign up for baking on a Thursday afternoon, both the children and yourself will have lots of fun! Book club is next week with different opportunities for parents to come into school so please do. Our PE sessions are on a Tuesday and Thursday so please ensure that your child has their kit and homework booklets are marked on a Friday.

Please remember that phonics bug is available at home with a range of e - books on for you to read with your child, reading every night either an e book or their book from school would be fantastic!

Any questions please come and see myself or Miss Stevenson.

Wrens have been learning all about pirates! We made our own pirates and pirate ships using joining materials. We went on adventures in our pirate ships to undiscovered islands and found new animals and we found a letter in a bottle from a pirate and wrote him one back!

Wrens all went to the theatre to see Little Red Riding Hood! The children all joined in with the show and listened really well, they even started to use some of the language from the show in their play!

Father Christmas came to visit us! He told us to write our letters and send them to the North Pole, so we did! We all posted them to make sure they got there!

We had lots of fun at Christmas, we helped Santa to wrap the presents he had left and wrote cards and letters to our family and friends.

The children made wreathes for school with lots of different materials, they had to be careful and concentrate when making them and were very proud of their finished design!

This is one of our Co -Jo lessons! The children were learning about communication, they had to give instruction for their partner who couldnt see and then listen carefully when it was their turn!

Hello! I hope you all had a wonderful 6 weeks and a big welcome to back to school!
