Newark Air Museum Trip: March '25

We had such an amazing day visiting the Newark Air Museum. The children were enthusiastic and engaged with the fabulous tour by Howard. We related the visit to our History topic; and saw how planes and air transportation has developed over the last 100 years since the first flight of the Wright brothers. 

The children especially enjoyed being able to sit inside different helicopters and cockpits as well as being in awe of the sheer size of the Vulcan B2.

Mummification!!

We explored the process of mummification, including pulling the brain out of the nose.

So we had to have a good ourselves - all brains are still firmly in place though!
