Spring Two

This half term we are going to be learning about animals including dinosaurs and farm animals. We shall be creating a fact file about what dinosaurs are like and what they need to survive.

Wrens have been amazing at Drawing Club and we are now moving on to Jane Considine’s The Write Stuff to expand the children’s learning further. We will start off with Harry and the bucketful of dinosaurs to kick off our topic for this half term.

At Ironville and Codnor Park Primary School we believe that knowing about good nutrition and being able to create healthy meals is an important part of growing up healthy and strong. We are going to learn about how to keep our bodies healthy and strong, which foods can support this and how we can prepare these foods. 

This half term we shall be learning how to make easy breakfasts. 

Why did Jesus die for us? Why did Judas betray Jesus? This half term we are going to be learning about The Easter Story and learn about what Easter is and why it is special for Christians. 

We shall also have an Easter day where we shall have lots of fun activities planned to do with Easter, including going on an Easter Egg hunt!
