Imagine London a long, long time ago. It was a busy place, with lots of people coming and going. Houses were mostly made of wood and were very close together. It was a different city to the London we know today!

Why are Samuel Pepys and John Evelyn significant? What does their information tell us about what happened during The Great Fire of London?
In science, we will be looking at different materials and their properties as well as the difference between natural and manmade objects. This topic will also include an experiment to identify which types of materials float or sink.
For Design and Technology this half term, we will be baking biscuits following a recipe.

Focus on safety and hygiene: Proper handwashing, food handling practices, cleaning equipment.
Learn essential baking techniques: Beating, sieving, whisking, kneading.
