School Uniform

What does my child need to wear to school?

School uniform helps everyone to feel they are part of the team. This helps to improve standards of behaviour, which leads to better learning and a more harmonious atmosphere.

Please note it is not necessary to purchase uniform from any particular supplier. This helps to keep costs as low as possible for parents.

The following items are required unless stated otherwise

• blue school sweatshirt / fleece / cardigan with or without school logo
• white or plain blue shirt, blouse or polo shirt.
• a grey or black skirt or pinafore dress.
• grey or black trousers or shorts. Shorts are only permitted after Easter and until October half term.
• gingham blue/white summer dresses are only permitted after Easter and until October half term.
• black, navy, grey or white socks/tights.
• plain black shoes or boots with low heels (no more than 2cms/1 inch in height). This includes plain black trainers as we want to encourage children to be running around and keeping fit at break and lunch time. Please ensure the trainers have plain black soles and no coloured logos. No other trainers will be accepted as uniform.  Please note that crocs (or croc style), sling back shoes or open-toed are not permitted.
• Coats must be worn during break times and lunchtimes in cold/wet weather.

For P.E. and games your child will need:

     Indoor kit

• White/pale blue T- shirt with or without the school logo
• plain black/navy shorts
• flat trainers (these can be any colour)/black plimsolls.

Outdoor kit . As above but if it is cold can include:

• plain black/navy jogging bottoms or plain black/navy exercise leggings. No logos/brands.
• plain black/navy sweat shirt or school sweatshirt
• flat trainers (these can be any colour).

For swimming (in KS2) your child will need:

• costume;
• towel;
• waterproof bag.
