Reception, Year 1 and Year 2
The Children and Families Act 2014 places a legal duty on all state-funded schools in England, including academies and free schools to offer a free school lunch to all pupils in reception, Year 1 and Year 2 from September 2014.

At Ironville & Codnor Park Primary School we are more than happy to accommodate the children who choose on a day to day basis if they are having a school lunch or bringing in a packed lunch from home. Cost of a school lunch is £3.25 per day. Please see below for this term’s school lunch menu.
Packed Lunches
As part of our commitment to Healthy Schools, we encourage parents and carers to not provide fizzy drinks, chocolate and sweets to ensure a well-balanced meal.
