Autumn Two

Where do we live? What are we near? What is around us? This half term we shall be learning about Great Britain and the United Kingdom and what makes them both different. This includes exploring maps and atlases, locating the countries and capital cities and what counties border each other. We are going to explore the seas around Great Britain and the UK and finally we shall explore what famous landmarks there are including human and physical features. 

We will also be looking at the royal family. We will also be researching into the life of Queen Elizabeth II and Queen Victoria and finding out why they are significant people. We will learn what a timeline is and locate what imporatne events happend and locate them. We shall also compare the different reigns including what clothes the Queen's wore, family and food they ate.
